Wild West API

Uncensored AI for biology flashcards

Active recall decks from your own notes, not somebody else's summary

Biology is a vocabulary subject wearing a lab coat: names, stages, structures, pathways. Active recall on your own course's terms beats any generic deck, and building the deck is the boring half.

Why the mainstream APIs fail here

Shared decks are someone else's course: wrong depth, wrong terms, wrong emphasis. Making your own is hours of copying and formatting, which is why most people revise by re-reading, which is why most people fail the recall questions.

How Wild West API is used for this

Paste the lecture notes and ask for cloze deletions and question-answer pairs at the depth your exam sets. Ask for the TSV or CSV your app imports directly. Generate a deck per lecture; the cost is a rounding error even at a dollar a million output tokens.

A working loop

  1. Ask for the deck in your app's import format, not in chat prose.
  2. One fact per card; ask the model to split any card that has an 'and' in it.
  3. Do the deck once at the end of the week, not nightly; the forgetting is the point.

Details are on the privacy page. Per-model prices are on /models and the pricing model is on /pricing.
