DeepSeek publishes open weights, and its hosted API applies its own content rules, which bite hardest on political topics. Community abliterations have mostly targeted the smaller distilled releases: huihui-ai published abliterated versions of the DeepSeek R1 distills on Llama 70B and Qwen 32B.
